Welcome to Culips. These terms are the rules for using our website, app, and lessons. By creating an account or using Culips, you agree to these terms. Please read them with care.
These terms are an agreement between you and Culips LLC ("Culips", "we", "us"). They cover everything we offer, including the website, the app, audio lessons, interactive transcripts, vocabulary and flashcard tools, quizzes, guided study, practice feedback powered by AI, and live online classes. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Culips.
To use most of Culips, you need an account. When you make one, you agree to:
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to make an account. Your account is for your personal use only.
Some parts of Culips are free. To use everything, you need a paid membership. When you become a member, you agree to pay the price shown at checkout. Prices may include tax, depending on where you live.
Memberships renew on their own at the end of each period (for example, each month or each year) unless you cancel. We charge the same payment method you used before, and we show the price clearly before you buy. Prices may change; if we change the price of your plan, we will give you notice and the change applies to your next billing period. Members on an earlier price keep that price for as long as their membership stays active, as described when they joined.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, it will not renew.
New members can request a full refund within 7 days of their first payment. After that, because you keep access for the full period you paid for, we generally do not refund partial periods. Full details are in our Refund Policy. Nothing here limits any refund rights you have under the laws that apply to you.
Culips is for your own personal learning. When you use it, you agree not to:
All Culips lessons, audio, text, guides, and designs belong to Culips or our partners. We give you the right to use them for your own learning while your account is in good standing. You do not own them, and you may not share or resell them. You keep ownership of content you create, such as your saved notes, and you let us store and process it to provide the service.
In live classes and community spaces, please be kind and respectful, and follow any posted guidelines. We may remove anyone who is rude, unsafe, or breaks these rules. We want Culips to feel friendly for every learner.
We work to keep Culips online and working well. Still, we may add, change, or remove features at any time. Sometimes the service may be down for repairs or updates. Some features rely on other companies (such as payment providers, AI providers, and Discord), and your use of those may also follow their terms.
We give you Culips with great care, but we cannot promise it will be perfect, never have problems, or produce any particular learning result. As far as the law allows, Culips is not responsible for any loss we could not reasonably expect, and our total responsibility for any claim will not be more than what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law gives you.
These terms follow the laws of the State of California, United States, unless the law in your own country gives you stronger rights. In that case, those rights still apply to you.
